"watch".
During this project I have been able to develop my editing and filming experimentations. Starting with initial exploratory videos I focussed on the actions and movement of a go-pro camera strapped to my wrist. Therefore, I was able to understand the pov and daily movements of my own watch. I investigated the idea that time is always present in our lives, in one from or another. In my case, wearing my watch every day, even when I am not looking at the time, it is constantly keeping an eye on me. I was able to capture an entire day of my life in a timelapse video from the pov of my watch. I then warped the video to appear circular, mirroring the shape of my watch. To make it slightly more readable that the video was in fact a watch, I added a backwards clockface to appear as if we are peering through the watch from behind the glass and watching my life tick by. This gave me the opportunity to also add a working clock in the animation that presented the correct time of day to what is displayed in the video.

I was then able to experiment with numerous forms of resolution and how I would present the work. Projecting the video on to the wall at the standard elevated height where you would expect a clock to be, projecting the video onto an already existing clock to appear a functional moving screen or even as small-scale circular video to mirror the watch pov it displays.
